Sun Valley Junior Selected for All-National Honor Choir

Sun Valley Junior Jacqueline Scheck has been selected for the prestigious All-National Honor Ensembles Mixed Choir.  Jacqueline was previously selected to participate in the PMEA District and Region Choir festivals and the PA ALL State Choir.  Following her participation in the ALL State Choir, Jacqueline's choral director at Sun Valley, Mrs. Nicole Moyer, recorded and submitted an audition that led to Jacqueline's selection into the 2016 All-National Honor Ensembles Mixed Choir.

Jacqueline is one of a very select few to be selected from the PA ALL State Choir to perform in the elite All-National Honor Choir. She is the first in Sun Valley history to ever make the national choir.

"I'm so excited to have gone this far in my first year doing this," stated Jacqueline.  "It's an incredible experience and I'm honored to be a part of it."

The 2016 All-National Honor Ensembles program will take place at the Gaylord Texan Hotel and Conference Center in Grapevine, Texas from November 10 - 13, 2016.  The guest conductor will be Dr. Anton Armstrong, Tosdal Professor of Music at St. Olaf College.

Mrs. Nicole Moyer noted, "I am very proud of Jacqueline, she is such a dedicated, hardworking and talented young person. I cannot say enough about her accomplishments in choir this year. She is a great example for my choir members and I know that she has even more greatness in her future."
