Northley Classroom Assistant Receives Making a Difference Award

Miki Fenza was honored by the Delaware County Right to Education Task Force on April 28th. The task force recognized 39 staff, students and community members in Delaware County who are making a difference in the lives of others. Miki is a classroom assistant in the Autistic Support classroom at Northley Middle School. She was nominated by Northley Principal, Mr. L.J. Blair who noted; “Mrs. Fenza is the most caring, self-less woman and one of the greatest assets to our programs. She is always willing to stay late, come in early and change her routine to accommodate the need of any student or staff member. Mrs. Fenza shops each week to purchase any and all items needed for the weekly ‘Meals on Wheels’ program, preparing meals for families in need and staff members who request meals and for the weekly café. She woks behind the scenes and never expects recognition.”
