Young Poet Winners

Congratulations to the Penn-Delco students who were selected as winners of the 34th Annual Young Poets of Delaware County 2023 Poetry Contest.

All children in grades 1-12 who live or attend school in Delaware County could submit one original poem. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each grade level were judged and chosen by a group of writers, teachers, and poets assigned to review entries across each grade.  Winning poems will be published in the annual poetry anthology and winning poets and their families are invited to an awards ceremony and reading in May.

This program is sponsored by the Mad Poets Society, Delaware County Libraries, Keystone State Literacy Association: Delaware County, Rose Tree Media Optimist Club, Pennsylvania Poetry Society and Pennsylvania Council on the Arts.
