Geocaching, Volunteering, and More
For students entering grades 6 - 8, The week of June 27 offers an opportunity for geocaching, volunteering, and more. Treasure hunt, support local parks and play outdoor games. Trips will include Bellevue State Park, Newlin Grist Mill, Ridley Creek State Park and the Wilmington Riverfront/Dupot Environmental Education Center. Camp fee is $140 including all materials. For students entering grades 4 - 8, the week of June 27 offers the opportunity to develop your choral skills. During this half-day choral camp program, singers will focus on various choral skills including pitch matching, breathing techniques, and note reading. Transition Camp for incoming 6th grade students
Lastly, incoming grade 6 students can attend the popular transition camp at Northley Middle School. This half day camp has a morning or afternoon option and runs from August 22 through August 25. Newly graduated 5th graders who plant to attend Northley can jump start their Northley experience with team-building activities and meet other new classmates from all four elementary schools.
