As we begin to bring more and more students back to the classroom through April 6, we invite parents and the Penn-Delco community to review the new safety protocols that have been put in place to allow students to return to the classroom four days per week. On Friday, March 19, an email was sent to all Penn-Delco families regarding the revised Health and Safety guidance.
New parent, student, and employee videos as well as revised guidelines updated in blue in the guide will help inform everyone of the new guidelines. While screening, masking, hand washing and enhanced cleaning and sanitizing remain in place, the Chester County Health Department has released new guidance on how we can best accommodate more students while adjusting rules around social distancing.
Learn more about minimum allowable distances, changes to the gaiter masking, and how testing and vaccination will help improve our numbers. We have been pleased with the ability to continue educating our students in the classroom. We look forward to even more students opting to learn in our buildings and we encourage parents to review the protocols with their children for staying safe with increased numbers of students.
