Penn-Delco helps others

images of generosity

With the holiday season fast approaching, Penn-Delco continues to care for others.  Many of our students, staff, and families have been working together to make this most difficult season easier for those who need the most.  Here are just a few examples of how our community continues to make us proud!

Coebourn Elementary has been working to collect food for our local CityTeam with a drive through food collection finalized November 23rd.

Pennell Elementary PTL has been busy planning a staff breakfast for Tuesday, November 24 while the Pennell PRIDE team (student counsel) has collected donations of food for the local Aston Neighbors Helping Neighbors organization.

Northley Middle School counseling staff has collected meals and gift cards to feed eight families while also hosting the traditional "giving tree" that will help additional families through the winter holiday season.

The Sun Valley counseling staff acknowledged the generosity of the high school community as they we were able to provide meals for over 35 families. Donations, combined with the staff and administration donations, have made Thanksgiving week just a little more bearable in these uncertain times.

The staff at the administration building collected food for the month of November that was distributed to local food banks in the area.   Multiple trips were needed to transport the gifts of non-perishable food.
