Special Programs at Sun Valley hosted their annual Thanksgiving tasting for staff, faculty, and administrators on Friday, November 22. Guests paid $5 to sample some interesting dishes for Thanksgiving -- with a twist.
The three course meal featured appetizers like maple caramel bacon crack bites and a turkey corn chowder. A crockpot pumpkin tortellini and butternut squach mac and cheese also rounded out the menu. There were even sides and desserts too.
Special programs students and their buddies help prepare the dishes and serve them in a transformed dining area with hand made coasters and festive centerpieces. It was a perfect way to ease into the Thanksgiving week.
