    The PTO is a group of parent volunteers that work together to enhance the learning environment of our children.     WELCOME BACK!!! We look forward to an exciting 2017-2018 school year. First off, we'd like to announce that our first PTO Meeting of the year will be Tuesday, September 12th at 6:30pm in the library. The 5th Grade Committee meeting will be held at 6pm that evening as well. 

    On the first day of school, your child will be coming home with a complimentary Pennell t-shirt, a penguin folder, and for grades 2nd-5th, a planner! Our Pennell staff has received a t-shirt as well! We are so excited!

    The second day, you should be receiving our PTO Events Calendar as well as a description of our many Volunteer Opportunities!! Our first opportunity will be our Book Fair, to be held the 3rd week of school. Sign-up forms will be made available soon. 

    Mark your calendar for Back to School Night, Tuesday, September 19th. The PTO will be collecting membership dues that evening (but please try to send in beforehand - that night gets busy!), as well as have sign-up sheets available for our many events.

    It truly takes a village, and we appreciate our families and all their help!!
