Sun Valley Students Recognized as National Merit Commended Students
Congratulations to Nollan Fayehun and Benjamin Grelis, two Sun Valley High School students who have been recognized as National Merit Commended Students for their outstanding academic promise.
Nollan and Benjamin are among approximately 34,000 students nationwide receiving this recognition. Commended Students placed among the top 50,000 students who entered the 2027 National Merit Scholarship Program by taking the 2025 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT).
While Commended Students do not continue in the competition for National Merit Scholarship awards, this recognition is a tremendous accomplishment. It reflects Nollan and Benjamin’s dedication, academic achievement, and potential for future success.
