Sun Valley Students Host Annual Thanksgiving Tasting

Sun Valley Students Host Annual Thanksgiving Tasting

Students at Sun Valley High School welcomed teachers and staff to their annual Thanksgiving tasting on November 19, transforming the lunch periods into celebration of food and teamwork. With guidance from Ms. Scarcelli, Ms. Martone, and Mr. Blocksome, students prepared a full menu of appetizers, entrées, and desserts ahead of time.

During the tasting, students rotated through various roles - Greeter/Cashier, Plating, Servers, and Drinks - giving them an opportunity to practice communication, hospitality, and collaboration. Peer buddies supported the students throughout the event, helping ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for every guest.

All attendees received a recipe book featuring the dishes served, allowing them to bring a bit of the tasting home. The event once again showcased the students’ hard work and hospitality, and brought plenty of gratitude to the Sun Valley community.
