Sun Valley Students Compete in EntreX Lab Competition

Students in Mr. Michael Kunz’s College Entrepreneurship Experience course put their skills to the test in the 2025 EntreX Lab Competition. This dual enrollment program, developed by Horn Entrepreneurship at the University of Delaware, provides high school students with real-world business experience while earning college credit.

In a Shark Tank-style pitch competition, student teams presented their ventures to a panel of judges, demonstrating their ability to identify problems, assess market opportunities, and pitch innovative solutions.

  • Social Impact Venture Winners: Wave - a mental health app designed to support high school and college students - by Gabrielle Dipietro, Nick Horton, and Adyson McClellan.
  • Business Venture Winners: Unbreakable Athlete - a mobile app and training facility focused on injury prevention and recovery for athletes - by Brandon Carr, Noah Gallagher, Kaiden Robinson, and Brecken Strickland.

Both teams will now advance to compete at the University of Delaware’s Regional Venture Showcase, where they will take their ideas to the next level.

Thank you to this year’s judges - Laura Huff, Terri Lannon, John Mancinelli, and Dr. Mark Thomas - for supporting these future entrepreneurs.

Good luck to our teams as they represent Penn-Delco in the next stage of the competition.
