Sun Valley Promotes Inclusion with Rain Rally & Color Run
Sun Valley High School came together for fun, fundraising, and inclusion as students participated in two exciting events - the Rain Rally and Color Run- held side by side in honor of Autism Acceptance Month.
Students braved the water shower in the Rain Rally to support Special Olympics Pennsylvania’s Unified Champion Schools program, while the National Art Honor Society hosted its first-ever Color Run to raise funds for Sun Valley’s Unified Sports and peer buddy programs.
In addition to the fun, students demonstrated their commitment to inclusion by signing the Spread the Word Inclusion banner, pledging to foster a more accepting and unified school community.
A special thank you to the Aston Township Fire Department for making the Rain Rally possible and to all the students, staff, and families who participated and contributed to these meaningful initiatives!
