Sun Valley celebrated Pi Day on March 13 with a fun, hands-on event in the MIC in honor of Pi Day on March 14. More than 600 students took part in a variety of math-themed activities, including Pi Paper Chains, Pi Trivia, Pi Poetry, Pi in the Sky Art, Pi Tessellations, the Digits of Pi Competition, Buffon’s Needle, and the NASA Pi Day Challenge.

A special thank you goes to Ms. Freeman, Ms. Caputo, and the Math National Honor Society for creating an engaging experience that brought math to life for students.
