On April 7, Pennell Elementary School kicked off Autism Acceptance Week with a vibrant celebration of school spirit and community.

Students filled the blacktop with energy during the Color War Parade, with first grade earning top honors in a sea of orange. The celebration continued with Pie-a-Teacher, where staff volunteers joined in the fun and helped create a memorable, laughter-filled moment for students.

The kickoff set the tone for the week ahead, highlighting the school's commitment to fostering inclusion, celebrating neurodiversity, and ensuring every student feels a strong sense of belonging.
