Pennell Girls on the Run Completes Practice 5K

The Pennell Elementary School Girls on the Run team wrapped up their season with a successful practice 5K on April 3.

This event marked the culmination of weeks of training, team-building, and personal growth. With 42 girls participating this season and eight dedicated teacher coaches, the practice 5K was a joyful celebration of progress and perseverance.

Girls on the Run is about so much more than running - it’s a space where every girl is celebrated, empowered, and supported. Through engaging lessons, teamwork, and fun activities, the program helps participants build confidence, form lasting friendships, and realize their limitless potential.

The official Girls on the Run 5K will take place on Saturday, May 3 at 9:30 AM at Fort Washington Office Park (1300 Virginia Dr, Fort Washington, PA 19034).
