Sun Valley Athletes Inspire Parkside Students

Sun Valley student-athletes visited Parkside Elementary on November 21 as guest readers for the school’s sports-themed storytime. They read The Way Champs Play by tennis player Naomi Osaka and engaged students in discussions about leadership, sportsmanship, and goal-setting. The visit tied into Habit #2 of the Leader in Me program: “Begin with the End in Mind.”

Parkside students enjoyed learning about the athletes’ experiences at Sun Valley and took away important lessons on how teamwork and perseverance lead to success both on and off the field.
