Parkside Kindergarten Students Celebrate Class Books

Parkside Kindergarten Students Celebrate Class Books

Ms. Coyle’s and Ms. Russella’s kindergarten classes at Parkside Elementary School recently celebrated a special milestone as they completed their class books: Wild About Animals and Paws-itively Awesome Animals.

Each student participated in the writing process by researching an animal, writing a page for the class book, and creating an illustration to accompany their work. Together, their individual contributions came to life in two class publications that highlight creativity, curiosity, and early literacy skills.

To celebrate their hard work, students walked the red carpet, were cheered on by staff, enjoyed pizza, and gathered together to “unveil” and read their finished books as a group.

A joyful celebration of creativity, collaboration, and early writing skills!
