CANCELED: 2026 In-School Dental Exams

Update: Due to low enrollment, the My School Dentist Program has been canceled. All families who previously registered will be notified by their school nurse.

We are thrilled to partner with The Smile Program: My School Dentist to bring in-school dental care to our students!

Event Details

  • Date: Thursday, February 19, 2026
  • Location: Northley Middle School
  • Who: Students in grades K/1, 3, and 7 (and any student in need of a dental exam)

Why Participate?

  • Required Dental Forms: Dental forms are required by the Pennsylvania School Code for school entry (grades K and 1), as well as for grades three (3) and seven (7).
  • Comprehensive Services: Includes dental exams, x-rays, cleanings, fluoride treatments, sealants (if needed), and restorative care like fillings (when necessary).
  • Affordable Care: Services are provided at little or no cost to families. All insurance is accepted, including Medicaid and CHIP, with a low-cost self-pay option available.
  • Health Benefits: Regular dental care reduces risks of tooth loss, gum disease, heart disease, and speech development issues.

How It Works

  • Students from all elementary schools will be transported to Northley Middle School for their exams. Parents/guardians are encouraged to attend and may choose to provide transportation if preferred.
  • Pre-registration is required. Submit the registration form online or complete the paper form and return it to your child’s school by January 31, 2026.

We encourage you to take advantage of this convenient opportunity to support your child’s dental health. Together, we can make a difference in the well-being of our students and community.

Let’s work together to keep our students smiling and healthy!
