Penn-Delco staff members took time to recharge, connect, and focus on personal well-being during the district’s third annual Wellness Day held on Tuesday, May 19.

The in-service day featured a wide variety of sessions and activities designed to support physical, emotional, creative, and financial wellness. Staff members had the opportunity to customize their experience throughout the day by participating in sessions that matched their interests and wellness goals.

Offerings included yoga, mindfulness meditation, watercolor painting, volleyball, basketball, archery, badminton, financial wellness, nutrition sessions, bird watching, archery, ukulele, urban sketching, crochet, board games, and more. Staff also enjoyed chair massages, wellness activities, and time to connect with colleagues in a relaxed and supportive environment.

In addition to the sessions, employees visited the Wellness Fair, where local organizations and vendors shared resources related to health, wellness, financial planning, fitness, and employee support services. Staff members also had opportunities to win prizes throughout the event.

The district’s Wellness Day continues to provide employees with an opportunity to prioritize self-care, build connections, and return to their work refreshed and energized.
