Homecoming Parade to Follow New Route on October 9

Sun Valley High School’s annual Homecoming Parade will take place on Friday, October 9, and will follow a new route this year due to The Wall That Heals 2026 Tour event at the Aston Community Center, where parade staging typically takes place.

To accommodate the event, parade staging will take place in the Northley Middle School parking lot on the Bridgewater Road side of the building.

2026 Homecoming Parade Route

The parade will exit the Northley entrance onto Concord Road and proceed along the following route:

1. Proceed on Concord Road.
2. Turn left onto Dutton Mill Road.
3. Turn left onto Wellington Road.
4. The Homecoming Court will cross Pancoast Avenue and enter the stadium lot.
5. All other parade participants will turn right on Pancoast Avenue and enter Sun Valley High School at the main entrance (front circle).

Families and community members attending the parade should be aware of the new route and plan for temporary traffic impacts along the parade route.
