Aston Students Give Back for MLK Day

On January 22, Aston students honored Martin Luther King Jr. by participating in meaningful service projects to support Giving Tree families. Each grade level focused on a different activity to spread kindness and generosity:

  • Kindergarten - Decorated grocery bags for donated groceries.
  • Grades 1 & 2 - Created snack bags and cards for community partners.
  • Grade 3 - Made Kindness Cups: decorated cups filled with snacks and tags for distribution.
  • Grades 4 - Decorated paper bags and filled them with cold-weather essentials for Helena's Hope.
  • Grade 5 - Built Snack Buster Bags with positive messages to brighten someone’s day.

We are proud of our students for taking action to support those in need and carrying forward Dr. King’s legacy of service.
