I am very excited to be your science teacher this year! This is my fourteenth year teaching at Northley Middle School and I have loved every year. Before working at Northley, I attended Penn State University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology, and then West Chester University, where I earned a Teaching Certificate in Biology and a Master of Education in Secondary Education. As both a student and teacher of science, I am very passionate about science and how it helps us learn about the world in which we live.
This year in seventh grade science, students will be learning about life science and the environment and ecology. The exciting year of science learning will culminate with a marking period long project: the Northley Green Garden! Students will have the opportunity to become master gardeners as they learn about how organisms live and grow in their environment. It's going to be a great year in seventh grade science!
