Your child's health and safety is important
We are officially open to all students who opt in for four days of in-person instruction!
There are changes to our most recent Health and Safety Guidelines, particularly around social distancing in the classrooms. Please review the most recent communication regarding Reopening 2.0.
Regardless of changes, we ask that you and your child/children work with our administrators, teachers, and staff to create the safest environment possible to keep our buildings open.
Please take the time to review the revised guidelines (many changes are noted in the guides in blue). A new parent video as well as a child video are also posted to serve as a valuable reminder on how to continue to stay well while at school. These will be shared as schools open their doors to all students four days per week.
Be assured that your child will also regularly experience health and safety guidance in the classroom.
In the event there is a case of COVID-19 reported in your school, Penn-Delco School District will follow the Chester County Health Department (CCHD) guidelines for reporting. When a case is diagnosed in any of our schools, the dashboard will be updated accordingly. Dashboard is updated daily Monday through Friday. Additionally, we will follow the CCHD guidelines to determine appropriate steps for contact tracing/quarantine etc.
As always, thank you for your support as we follow health department and state mandates on safely returning to school. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to your building principals as we finally open our doors to students.
