Meet the Board

Penn-Delco School District is governed by a School Board comprised of nine publicly elected directors. The superintendent has a seat on the Board and the right to speak on all matters, but not the right to vote.

The term of office of each school director shall be four years and shall expire on the first Monday of December, except for a school director appointed or elected to fill a vacancy. The authority and responsibilities of the Board are outlined in School Code and consist of roles such as adopting District policies, approving the annual budget, setting the tax rate, and employing a superintendent.
