Welcome Letter from Kate Denney, PTL President

As the newly elected PTLPresident, I would like to take this opportunity to welcome all of you to the 2013-2014 school year at Aston Elementary School. Thepurpose of the PTL is to support the faculty, staff, parents, and most especiallyour students at Aston Elementary School. Over the years, the PTL has become oneof the strongest voices in the educational process that directly supports ourchildren and school. This year will be no different. Your PTL ExecutiveCommittee has been busy developing the details for a very productive andexciting year aimed at enhancing the educational environment for all of ourstudents.

 In order to besuccessful, we know that the support and involvement of the parents of ourstudents, the faculty and staff at Aston Elementary, as well as the businessleaders in our community will be of utmost importance. Your first opportunityto show your support will be to become a member of Aston Elementary School PTL.We encourage each of you to show your commitment by joining. 

The second way to showyour support will be to participate in the numerous events and programs that wehave planned throughout the year. Your participation might be that of a committeemember, volunteer, or merely as an attendee. Whatever level of participationyou select, your time and involvement will certainly be appreciated.

 You also can showyour support a third way by providing us your comments regarding our PTLefforts or suggestions or ideas for other potential PTL initiatives. Tofacilitate this, please feel free to contact me directly.

 We in the PTLbelieve that it is of ultimate importance that we do everything we can toenhance the learning environment of our children as they truly are our future.It will take all of us working together to ensure that this happens.
