The Penn-Delco School District embodies excellence in education. The Pennsylvania Department of Education has honored the District for achieving district-wide Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) standards for eight consecutive years. Penn-Delco has the most dedicated, enthusiastic employees in the Commonwealth and a Board of School Directors that works hard to ensure our students receive the best possible education.
Penn-Delco is located in Southeastern Pennsylvania approximately 15 miles southwest of Philadelphia. The district encompasses Brookhaven and Parkside Boroughs and Aston Township. Approximately 3,400 students are enrolled in grades Kindergarten through 12. The district comprises six schools:

Northley Middle School
Aston Elementary School
Coebourn Elementary School
Parkside Elementary School
Pennell Elementary School
The mission of the Penn-Delco School District is to enable all students to learn the skills, acquire the knowledge, and develop the attitudes necessary for them to reach their full potential as citizens who can meet the challenges of a changing global society in the 21st Century. Our primary focus has always been on student achievement. The district has implemented academic standards in an effort to stress high expectations for all students.
