The Penn-Delco School District ’s annual Read Across America night has been rescheduled for Thursday, March 30, 2006 .  All elementary school students, grades kindergarten – 5^th, are invited to attend an evening of games, crafts, prizes and, of course reading!  Volunteers, including members of the Penn-Delco faculty and administration, will be on hand to partake in the festivities.   The event will take place at Sun Valley High School , 2881 Pancoast Avenue , Aston , PA.   Registration will begin at 5:45pm on Thursday and activities will run 6:00-8:00p.m.   

Read Across America is an annual reading motivation and awareness program that calls for every child in every community to celebrate reading on or around Dr. Seuss's birthday.  Read Across America also provides NEA members, parents, caregivers, and children the resources and activities they need to keep reading on the calendar 365 days a year.  The Penn-Delco Education Association and the Penn-Delco School District are sponsoring Thursday’s events.
