William G. Moser, Former Superintendent of the Penn-Delco School District, 1920-2005


William G. Moser, 85, former superintendent of schools for the Penn-Delco School District, passed away on December 26, 2005. Among his many accomplishments, Mr. Moser became the first superintendent of the newly merged district in 1955 and held the position for twenty-four years. He was instrumental in procuring the donation of 35 acres of land from the Sun Oil Company, upon which Sun Valley High School, Northley Middle School and the William G. Moser Administration Buildings were constructed. Mr. Moser also oversaw the construction of four other schools within the district before retiring in 1978 and was inducted into the Sun Valley Hall of Fame in 2004.
